Ying Zhong
About
My name is Ying Zhong(鍾穎). I am an Assistant Professor at Tsukuba University of Technology in Japan. I am also a Visiting Researcher and a Part-time Lecturer at the University of Tsukuba.
My research focuses on accessibility and human-centered AI, aiming to support everyday communication and safety for diverse users, including deaf and hard-of-hearing people, blind and low vision people, elderly people and foreign residents.
I study human–AI collaboration, multimodal interaction design, and AI-assisted communication systems, and apply them to real-world service encounters, public events, and daily living environments. Apart from research activities, My hobbies are cooking, music instruments(guitar and ukulele), ballet and movies.
